I am sure we are all familiar with the story of the farmer that sowed seeds and some fell on the road, some on gravel, some amongst weed and some on fertile ground.
I want to relate this with our everyday life…
The seeds are likened to the word of God and how we relate. Most times we wonder why we hear a powerful word in church and it has no effect on our lifes or after the whole “Christainese” of “I receive it, I believe it” nothing happens. It may be cause you haven’t received or accepted the WORD itself that is usaully the fundamental and foundational problem. By the WORD i mean the word which is JESUS. Some go to church claiming they believe in HIM but their heart is far away from him, they don’t even commune with him. As I grew, I learnt that communication is key in everything especially relationships.
Having treated the case of the foundation, some people receive the word quite well but you know what it ends that day, After the whole “whoop whoop” in church, that’s it and this is because they have given the devil a chance to snatch it away so at the end of the day they won’t believe neither will they be saved.
Some receive the word and hear it with enthusiasm but this enthusiasm doesn’t go deep, the moment trouble comes, the word is gone, totally gone.
Some get the word but after it they get distracted and crowded by so many things, soon they forget and go back to their daily activities of worrying, making money and having fun.
Some stick to the word no matter what, holding on to that wrd till there is a manifestation.
Which Are You?
Finally;”Don’t get off track either left or right so as to make sure you get to where you are going, and don’t for a minute let the book of the revelation(word of God) be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it, then you will get where you are going then you will succeed”.
“Write this, write what you see, write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run”.
